Tuition and Fees

Sophia Academy is a private, independent school and does not receive taxpayer dollars. Tuition is set for each individual family based on income, and on average is $500 per year, spread over 10 monthly payments. Income verification is required each year to set tuition.

The balance of our funding comes from individuals and organizations who make philanthropic contributions to the school.

In addition to tuition, families are required to purchase uniforms. On average, families pay $x per year for uniforms.

Included in the student’s tuition:

Field trips, including major overnight excursions, including the 3-day trip to The Farm School for grades 5 and 6, and the 8th grade Civil Rights trip to Alabama

Taekwondo classes and uniform

Annual homework planner, textbooks and curricular materials

Access to school Chromebooks and other technology resources

Enrichment programs, including art and music

Basketball Team
