Sponsor a Student

Because our mission is to serve students in low income families, every Sophia Academy student receives significant financial aid; on average, each family pays just $500 per year in tuition. But the cost to provide a rigorous, engaging, empowering middle school education is approximately $17,000 annually.

We are grateful to individuals, foundations, and businesses who understand how important the middle school years are, and that every girl has the right to a student-centered learning experience that will set her on the path to realize her dreams.

Our scholarship donors are changing lives every day. Won’t you join them?

Sponsoring a student involves making a four-year pledge to support a student through her entire Sophia Academy journey. This donation covers the operational expenses that other schools fund through tuition--compensation and benefits for our hard working, nationally/regionally recognized teachers; curricular materials; technology; enrichment programs; a safe, secure, healthy learning environment; and more.

Some donors make full scholarship contributions, while others make partial scholarship gifts. Sophia Academy faculty, staff, and students stay connected to scholarship donors through ongoing communication including updates on student progress and achievement, and invitations to special programs. We also welcome inquiries about mentoring from scholarship donors.
